The core of what we believe as Christians resides in the fact that Jesus of Nazareth is the incarnation of Almighty God.  His life, His death, and His resurrection not only fulfill the Hebrew Scriptures, but give us a model to follow, hope for the future and confidence of God's benevolence toward us.  Putting our full trust in Him, we prayerfully engage in ministry for the sake of glorifying God and building His Kingdom.

The Bible is our authority in faith and life.  Were you to read everything we believe, you need only read the Bible.  We do have several concise expressions of faith called creeds and confessions.  A brief summation of belief is called a creed, from the Greek "credo" (I believe).  A more lengthy statement of belief is called a confession.  One hallmark of Presbyterian tradition is the collection of creeds and confessions by which we abide.

All our confessions are summations of Scripture, and are are "useful for teaching, rebuking, correction, and training in righteousness that the child of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16)  Below is a list of the confessions (the larger ones are available for download), many of which are shared by other denominations as well.  Enjoy God's Holy Word!
